For Independent Sales Director, Jodi Van Leeuwen, life changed when she was introduced to Mary Kay opportunity during a Mary Kay makeover.  Jodi explains, “I was working full time as a elementary teacher, taking graduate courses, figuring out life in a new city and loving life as a newlywed.  I was thankful for my career and enjoying life, but I realizing that it was going to take a long time to pay off my husband’s college debt and unsure that my dream to be at home and raise my own children would ever come to fruition if I stayed on the same path.”   She knew if something was going to change, she had to be willing to step out in faith and pursue her dreams.  So she signed her Independent Beauty Consultant Agreement and committed to working this business 6-10 hours a week as a part time consultant. She worked the business and trusted the process and her leadership to guide her.  In 16 months, she earned the use of her first free car and two months later debuted as an Independent Mary Kay Sales Director.   

 

It has truly been an honor for Jodi to show women how Mary Kay live a life of passion with purpose and pursue the dreams God placed on their hearts.   Jodi shares that, “Because of Mary Kay Ash’s dream, I can have the opportunity to live my life God first, Family second, and Career third while earning an executive level of income, earn Career Cars (8 so far!!!!),  and raising four beautiful children alongside my husband. This lifestyle doesn’t just give you an income. It gives you a life.  A life you design and the privilege to encourage, grow, believe, and influence women to live to their fullest potential and with no regrets.”  Now, Jodi is knitting together an area of women ready to embrace the Mary Kay values.  She is building leaders who desire to enrich the lives of women and she is leading/coaching women to achieve their dreams.  Together with her unit, The Boundless Believers, build a national area of women living a life of excellence.
